Our U 11s travelled to Corofin and came away with a great win against a tough home side .

The game was only 3 minutes in when we took the lead , colm Hourigan fed shane carrig who put Callum buckley in to score . On 11 mins we doubled our lead from a corner with Shane Carrig jumping highest to head home .

Aided by a strong wind and hill we pushed for that 3rd goal with the Corofin keeper making some fine saves to keep his side in the game .

The second half didn't produce any goals but what it did produce was heroic defending with Corofin dominating the game to get themselves back into this game . A defensive masterclass by Van Dyke (liam kelly) & David Luiz (Darragh O Hare) kept the Corofin affack out .

We came close to adding a 3rd with colm hourigan smashing the crossbar from 25 yards .

A special mention to mikey behan who pulled off some outstanding saves to keep us in the tie .
