Miserable conditions tonight for game played in St. Patricks Comprehensive School. First half finished level at 1 each. Lenon Keogh getting the tap in when the ball rebounded from Gerard Mullane's shot. But with Liford playing the whole game with 10 men Shannon Town started to dominate the second half and ended winning comfortably with two second half goals from Robbie Waller and Nathanael Nyakujara (Noddy).

Win tonight leaves Shannon Town in 2nd place in Division 2 on 12 points with Tulla Utd ahead on 14 points and having played 2 more games then Shannon Town.
