Shannon Town battled hard in the first half, winning the majority of possession. Shelbournes defence was excellent but 10 mins before the break Shannon Towns Billy Kelly floated the ball into Aidan Buckley who beat his man and found the net with an excellent finish⚽️

The next 35 minutes were nail biting. Shannon had loads of chances to score but just could not capitalise. Shelbourne created some opportunities but the defence of Shannon town were solid, Flinn Carrig made some excellent saves and earned a well deserved clean Sheet.
