Shannon Town U13’s Girls played the League 2 Champions, St. Pats in the Cup quarter final in Kilmihil. The Shannon Town girls swarmed the St. Pats defence right from the start and Rubi Murphy was first to score on 4 minutes. Laura Connollywas next with probably the pick of the goals on the night, lobbing the goal keeper from the edge of the box. 2 more goals followed from Kate Lee and the Shannon girls would not let St. Pats out of their own half and so half time beckoned. All 4 subs were introduced and despite St. Pats best efforts they rarely troubled Shannon Town. They managed a consolation goal mid-way through the second half only for Lucy Watson to score Shannon Towns 5th goal. A comprehensive win for the girls who march on to the semi’s.👍⚽️⚽️
