This fixture in the past has resulted in a very tough and competitive game.

Taking that in to Consideration the hardest battle today was against the very hot conditions for both teams.

We started the game with a new formation with us pushing which resulted in us getting the first goal from Evan Hodges⚽️ with that the passing was excellent bringing the ball out from the back to forwards Shannon Town were well in control but mountshannon got a corner and we let our guard down and they got goal to make it 1-1 just before half time we pushed again and Evan Hodges⚽️ got his second goal.

The start of second half and mountshannon pushed us back and they got their second goal to make it 2-2 . Then with 20mins to go Shannon Town put mountshannon on the rocks when Evan Hodges⚽️ scored his hattrick! The game kept going on and in stoppage time Jack Mcmahon⚽️ scored to seal the win!👏👏
