Shannon town started strong and played much the better football in the first few minutes. Lifford scored with a chance on the counter half way through the first half and again just before half time.

Shannon started the second half scoring after 2mins with a goal from Aidan Buckley⚽️, a chance that came from good work by Jan Zmija,Brian Punch and Liam Murphy In midfield. Lifford went on to score another 2 goals. Shannon town battled hard and made plenty of chances, but unfortunately it wasn’t their day.
