Shannon Town Utd caters for over 250 members . The majority of our members are under 25 years. We recognise that the last year has been very hard on this age group. There have been many lost moments for them. It is with this in mind that we have decided the support JIGSAW.
JIGSAW are a national charity that offer a listening ear, and give expert advice and support to young people aged 12 – 25 years-old. They give families, teachers, and those who support young people’s mental health ways to cope and skills to be there for young people. Using their collective power to change attitudes to make sure that youth mental health is a national and local priority.
Shannon Town United priorities the health of our young members and this includes their mental health which is why we felt that JIGSAW is a worthwhile charity for us to give our backing to.
